NativeDarts sells tobacco and nicotine products to adults who choose to use them. We also believe in being straight with our customers: tobacco use carries serious, well-documented health risks. This page lays out those risks plainly and points you to free help if you ever decide to cut down or quit.
The health risks of smoking
Smoking is the leading preventable cause of death and disease in Canada. The main risks include:
- Cancer — including lung, throat, mouth, esophageal and bladder cancer. Smoking is responsible for the large majority of lung cancer cases.
- Heart & vascular disease — smoking damages blood vessels and raises the risk of heart attack, stroke and high blood pressure.
- Respiratory disease — chronic bronchitis, emphysema and COPD, which make breathing progressively harder over time.
- Pregnancy & reproductive harm — smoking during pregnancy raises the risk of complications, premature birth and low birth weight, and can affect fertility.
- Secondhand smoke — exposure harms the people around you, especially children and non-smokers.
Nicotine & addiction
Nicotine — in cigarettes, pouches and vapes alike — is addictive. Nicotine products are for adults of legal age only. We do not sell to minors, and by ordering you confirm you are of legal smoking age in your province.
